If you’re checking out this review, chances are you’re already into the idea of a home cinema. But just in case you’re on the fence, let me tell you, setting up a home cinema is totally worth it. It brings a whole new vibe to your home entertainment and fun times that you just can’t get from a regular TV. Plus, when it’s all set up right, you can easily tuck everything away when the in-laws drop by.

I stumbled upon Pure Theatre while browsing online back in 2014. I was after a low-key setup and needed a lift for my projector along with a screen that could disappear when not in use. My first home cinema, provided by Pure Theatre, served me like a champ for eight years. During that time, I enjoyed countless hours of everything from tear-jerkers to inspiring true tales and superhero flicks. The Pure Theatre lift and screen worked like a dream, and honestly, the look of the lift is unmatched by anything else I’ve seen. The way the lift and screen fit together is just perfect.

This year, I decided to upgrade to a bigger lift for a new 4K projector. No question about it, Pure Theatre was my go-to for the second installation. Their knowledge, support, and customer service are top-notch, and I can honestly say I’m a lifelong fan! The new CR50 lift is stunning! I was more hyped about the lift than the projector itself! (Well, almost!) :)

I was on the lookout for a projector, and this store was the only one that had what I was after. Unfortunately, they made a blunder and listed the item as available when it was actually a pre-order. Thanks to some hiccups in the supply chain (mostly not their fault), I found myself waiting for months.

So why am I giving them 5 stars despite the hiccups? It's all about how they tackled the issue. Every business is bound to mess up at some point, so what really matters is how they respond, and I couldn't be more pleased with their approach. Chris was super helpful and kept me updated throughout the process, even throwing in a nice discount. He really seemed to care about making sure I had a positive experience.

I was just after the projector, but they also focus on creating complete cinema setups and similar experiences (way out of my price range). However, if their support and commitment are as strong for larger projects as they were for my small order, it would be tough to find a better company for home cinema needs.

I got my extra fee for next day shipping refunded since it didn’t arrive the next day. The product I bought is all good. Communication was excellent.

I bought a ceiling hoist along with a 104” in-ceiling display and some other minor items. I swung by for a look, and Chris was super helpful, just like he was throughout the whole process. He even adjusted delivery times and offered advice on other things that weren’t part of my order. It was a totally hassle-free experience. I’d definitely recommend it.
